If you’re remotely considering enrolling your child (of any age) into Taekwondo, just do it. AFC is a fantastic environment. My son started partially due to virtual school support needs and some interest in Taekwondo but he was quickly hooked. The changes and growth I’ve seen in him in just 6 months well exceeded any expectation I had. His emotional growth, manners, physical fitness, leadership, and more…All of this is due to the incredible staff led by Master Kim. The entire staff really cares for these kids as a whole person and carries through the messages and honor that is at Taekwondo’s core. My youngest can’t wait to get started when she starts Kindergarten! Seriously – don’t hesitate, give it a try!
The experience that our son Luke has had since he started… priceless!! It’s a great community for all kids of various ages. Mrs Kim, Master Kim, Ms. Richardson, instructors and staff do an outstanding job installing long lasting values, while teaching the art of Taekwondo. They offer after school programs, weekend classes, summer camps and other fun activities for the kids. Our son Luke enjoys the interaction with AFC, and it’s part of his weekly routine. I highly suggest bring your kids down to AFC for a visit, and to see/experience what a great community they have created!
Our two daughters absolutely love AMF! They enjoy the family environment and are able to make friends and get a workout while having fun. In just a short time they have shown great improvements in their beginner martial arts class. As a matter fact after they received their very first promotion in belt level they agreed to make their bed and keep their room clean in front of an audience. I can honestly say that till today they have kept their bedroom clean and strive to make their bed daily. Most of all Mrs. Kim and all of the instructors and staff do a great job keeping our kids happy and being attentive to their needs. It truly is a family atmosphere and depending on what your goals are for your kids they do their best to help reinforce the message the parents are sending. At a minimum my wife and I have seen our kids are becoming better leaders and having more confidence in themselves.
Absolutely wonderful place to have a Birthday Party! My son celebrated his 5th Birthday there. The instructors were so great with the kids and they all had a blast. They even decorated and provided pizza. I would highly recommend this place!
My grandson loves it everyone there is so nice and they respect the kids as much as the kids respect them
Everyone is like a family to me wheather it be the parents or the staff that work here. They are really dedicated to the business. Everything in the school is very thought out and very unique when it comes to a martial arts school. I would recommend this school for all people.

AFC is phenomenal! Since signing our 6-year-old son up almost a year ago, I have been extremely impressed with their professionalism, personable approach and ability connect with kids.
Beyond the superb level of instruction, what I appreciate most is that they instill good values, a positive attitude and discipline. All the kids have tons of fun and are very supportive of each other. AFC is part of our extended family.
Bottom line: If I could send my kid here 8 days a week I would. I recommend AFC to any parent considering enrolling their kid(s) in martial arts classes.
My two boys been going to AFC Karate going on a year now and they love it, they get to meet new people and learn new things. AFC Karate help my boys with their everyday lifestyle, like school work and at home activities. AFC Karate is a 2nd family to my boys and I. Oh and the Ninja Night you us parents a little time to relax because you know your kids are in good and safe hands.
